PUMA 165 - Product Description
Powertrain and Design
The PUMA 165 is equipped with a 6-cylinder FPT engine with a displacement of 6.7 liters, complying with the V emission standards thanks to the HI-eSCR2 technology. The maximum output reaches 154 kW (209 PS) at 1800 rpm, with an additional 44 HP obtainable through the power management system. The engine delivers a high torque of 875 Nm at 1500 rpm, complemented by an efficient cooling system for optimal and economical performance.
Undercarriage and Hydraulics
The PUMA 165 features a hydraulic system powered by pumps with a maximum flow rate of up to 160 l/min. Hydraulic capabilities include up to 5 electrically controlled additional devices and a maximum lift capacity of 8257 kg at the rear. This is enhanced by electronic hitch control, increasing comfort and precision in operations.
Operating Parameters
The PUMA 165 provides a complete array of working solutions, capable of reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h in ECO mode and 40 km/h in standard mode. Its compact size and low cab profile (2934 mm height) make it suitable for challenging work conditions. The fuel tank capacity is 330 liters, facilitating extended operational sessions without refueling.
Optional Equipment
The PUMA 165 is available with various additional options, including different power transmission systems such as ActiveDrive 6 or PowerDrive. Users can select the version with a front lift and various towing implements, and adjust the cab configuration according to their requirements. The HMC II system supports automation of field operations.
