Powertrain and Design

Both CASE CX490C and CX500C are powered by Tier III Isuzu engines, which significantly enhance machine performance while optimizing fuel consumption. These models feature a robust design that ensures high reliability and durability in various working conditions. The CX490C comes equipped with standard heavy-duty boom and arms for lasting durability, while the CX500C is tailored for ultra-heavy-duty applications, providing greater digging forces due to its advanced working system anatomy.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The CX490C and CX500C feature a hydraulic system with 2 variable displacement axial piston pumps, offering a maximum oil flow of 2 x 400 l/min at 2000 rpm. The working pressure for the boom, arm, and bucket is 31.4 MPa, with an automatic power boost to 34.3 MPa. The hydraulic system is optimized for increased efficiency during construction tasks.

Operating Parameters

CASE CX490C has an operating weight of 48,700 kg with a 2.53 m HD arm, while CX500C weighs 49,300 kg. The maximum digging depth is 6890 mm for CX490C and 7750 mm for CX500C, making them suitable for various construction applications. The digging force for CX490C is 281 kN, delivering high efficiency in earthmoving tasks.

Optional Equipment

These models allow customization for different tasks with 10 auxiliary hydraulic settings and three working modes: Auto, Heavy, and Super Power. Depending on the specification, the machine can be equipped with optional rear cameras for enhanced operational safety.
