Powertrain and Design

The machine features an Isuzu AI-4HK1X engine, Tier III certified, 4-stroke turbocharged design. It has 4 cylinders with a displacement of 317 in³ (5193 cc). The net horsepower is 153 hp (114.4 kW) at 1800 rpm, and it delivers a maximum torque of 454 lb·ft (616 N·m) at 1500 rpm. The fuel injection system is direct with an electronic injection pump utilizing diesel fuel.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The undercarriage consists of two top rollers and eight bottom rollers on each track. The maximum drawbar pull is rated at 42,039 lb (187 kN), with travel speeds reaching up to 3.1 mph (5.0 km/h) in high mode. The hydraulic system is equipped with dual variable displacement pumps providing a maximum flow of 2 x 50.2 gpm (190 L/min). In Power Boost mode, the system pressure reaches 5,410 psi (37.3 MPa).

Operating Parameters

The 9 ft 10 in (3.00 m) arm version features a maximum dig radius of 32 ft 6 in (9.91 m) and a maximum digging depth of 22 ft 0 in (6.70 m). The 7 ft 10 in (2.40 m) arm has a maximum dig radius of 30 ft 9 in (9.37 m) and a digging depth of 20 ft 0 in (6.10 m). The operating weight with the 9 ft 10 in arm is 53,223 lb (24,141 kg).

Optional Equipment

The machine comes equipped with a cab featuring the Isomount system, air conditioning, and AM/FM radio. Options for arm lengths include both 9 ft 10 in (3.00 m) and 7 ft 10 in (2.40 m). Various hydraulic attachments may be used to enhance versatility in construction applications.

Safety and Technical Data
