Powertrain and Design

The engine model is a Tier 4 interim certified ISUZU AM-4JJ1X, a water-cooled, 4-cylinder inline diesel. It features a high-pressure common rail system, a turbocharger with an air-cooled intercooler, and a diesel particulate diffuser (DPD). The engine provides an output of 92.2 kW at 2200 min-1 and maximum torque of 391 Nm at 1800 min-1. These specifications offer reliable performance during operation.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The hydraulic system has a maximum oil flow of 2 x 142 l/min at 2200 min-1, utilizing two variable displacement axial piston pumps. The working circuit pressure reaches 34.3 MPa. The travel system relies on a fixed displacement axial piston motor with a maximum travel speed of 4.0 km/h and a drawbar pull of 190 kN, providing excellent maneuverability.

Operating Parameters

The CX180C can achieve a maximum reach of 9.04 m with a standard arm length of 2.60 m. It allows for a maximum digging depth of 6.68 m and a maximum loading height of 8.68 m, suitable for demanding conditions. Furthermore, the machine exhibits a gradeability of 70% (35°), offering considerable versatility on various construction sites.

Optional Equipment

This machine is equipped with a standard monoboom of 5.15 m and a 0.68 m3 bucket. Standard equipment also includes a centralized lubrication system, a safety camera, and a remote oil drain hose. Optional accessories such as mechanical or hydraulic quick couplers and various bucket types, including heavy-duty, general-purpose, and ditching buckets, are available.

Safety and Technical Data

Safety measures in the CX180C include a ROPS/FOPS cab with appropriate safeguards, along with a camera system for monitoring the surroundings.
