CX Series – Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The CX Series is a line of crawler excavators including the CX80, CX130, and CX160, which combine power and agility. They are powered by high-performance engines like the Case 4TA-3904 and Case 6TAA-5904, ensuring not only power but also fuel efficiency. The design of these excavators is robust, which allows for prolonged use in various working conditions. These engines are tailored to meet emissions standards, making them eco-friendly and economical options.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

CX series excavators are characterized by a sturdy undercarriage that provides excellent traction and stability in rough terrain. Thanks to the sophisticated hydraulic system, the operator has full control over all machine functions. Many models offer different hydraulic packages, enhancing their versatility. They facilitate the use of various attachments, making the machines prepared for different construction challenges.

Operating Parameters

The CX80, CX130, and CX160 models showcase excellent operating parameters. The CX80 has a digging depth of 15 ft 2 in (4.61 m) and an operating weight of 18,298 lb (8300 kg). The CX130 offers a maximum digging depth of 20 ft 0 in (6.10 m) with an operating weight of 27,057 lb (12,273 kg). The CX160 is the larger variant with a digging depth of up to 21 ft 2 in (6.45 m) and a weight of 36,226 lb (16,432 kg).

Optional Equipment

All models in the CX series can be equipped with various additional accessories as needed. They offer the possibility of installing hydraulic packages and a wide array of buckets, enhancing their versatility. Additionally, standard couplers and mechanical quick couplers for easy attachment changes are available, which streamlines operations on site.

Safety and Technical Data

CX series machines are equipped with advanced safety systems, such as automatic engine shutdown in case of critical failures. They also provide features that help reduce vibrations and noise, increasing operator comfort. Key technical data include engines ranging from 52 to 495 hp (39 to 369 kW) and a vast range of digging depths, making them suitable for various construction applications.
