Case 504 BDT – Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The Case 504 BDT is a hydraulic excavator powered by a diesel engine delivering a maximum output of 165 hp at 2200 rpm. The turbocharging enhances engine efficiency significantly. With a maximum digging depth of 21'2" (6451.6 mm), it is capable of a variety of earthmoving tasks. The crawler undercarriage design ensures good stability and traction in challenging terrains.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The undercarriage features independent drive motors for each track which contributes to maneuverability. It includes double-acting hydraulic cylinders that increase strength and work efficiency. The installed tandem pumps handle all hydraulic functions with a rating of 100 gpm at 2200 rpm. The hydraulic system also maintains a working pressure of 2500 psi, facilitating effective task execution.

Operating Parameters

The maximum digging depth is 21'2" (6451.6 mm), with a maximum bucket capacity of 42,560 lbs (19339 kg) when using the standard 36" (914.4 mm) bucket. The track length is 8'4" (2540 mm), retracting to 7'4" (2235.2 mm). This adaptability allows the machine to conform to various job site conditions and natures of the tasks performed.

Optional Equipment

The machine can be outfitted with optional accessories such as a turntable leveler to simplify working in difficult terrains. Various stick lengths are available, including the standard 9' (2743.2 mm) and an optional 10'6" (3200 mm), allowing customization to specific customer needs and operational specifics. Additionally, flat shoes of 24" (610 mm) and 30" (762 mm) are available as options.

Safety and Technical Data

This machine complies with the PCSA Standard No.3 for safety. It comes equipped with a safety cab featuring shatterproof glass and sound reduction materials. The positive cooling system coupled with high-quality oil filtration contributes to increased machine longevity. Moreover, the independent track drive design and safety features enhance operator security significantly.
