Case 336 – Product Description
Powertrain and Design
The Case 336 is a versatile rubber-tired excavator equipped with a 120 hp (89.5 kW) Case-built diesel engine. It features a single cab with one engine. The planetary type axles provide torque proportioning differentials, and the four-wheel drive system includes front steering. Additionally, it is equipped with air/hydraulic brakes for effective stopping power.
Undercarriage and Hydraulics
This excavator incorporates a robust hydraulic system that delivers high performance through double-acting cylinders and mono-block self-centering valves. The tandem gear-type pumps handle all hydraulic functions, rated at 78 gpm (295 l/min) at 2200 rpm. This hydraulic setup enables quick operational cycles with various attachments for enhanced functionality.
