Powertrain and Design

The 721E is powered by the Case Family IV 667TA/EED engine, delivering up to 183 hp (137 kW) with a displacement of 6.7 l. This engine utilizes an electronic fuel injection system which enhances efficiency and fuel savings. Additionally, the mid-mounted cooling module improves weight distribution, increasing machine stability. The design provides enhanced visibility from the cab, assisting operator performance.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The 721E features 4-wheel drive and an automatic torque sensing transmission. Limited slip differentials are included to maximize traction in tough terrains. The hydraulics allow variable pressure and flow control, enabling effective bucket management. Operators have a single lever for hydraulic functions, simplifying maneuvering.

Operating Parameters

The maximum operating weight of the 721E is 14500 kg, with a bucket capacity ranging from 2.40 to 2.70 m³. The engine and hydraulic performance are designed for demanding applications and heavy material transport. The lifting cycle time with a rated bucket load is just 5.59 seconds, significantly enhancing work efficiency.
