Powertrain and Design

The Case 521E is powered by a Case 445TA/EGE diesel engine with a capacity of 4.5 l, compliant with Tier III regulations. This engine has a peak power of 142 hp (106 kW) and offers a choice of three power curves to tailor machine performance for specific applications, enhancing productivity while reducing fuel consumption.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The machine features four-wheel drive and an automatic transmission with four forward and three reverse gears. Its hydraulic system includes a centrally controlled pump with a flow rate of 134 l/min, which ensures efficient loader operation and provides good material handling control.

Operating Parameters

The operating weight of the Case 521E is 10,464 kg (in Z-Bar configuration) and 11,906 kg (in XT configuration). The bucket capacity ranges from 1.6 to 1.8 m3 in Z-Bar configuration and from 1.7 to 1.9 m3 in XT configuration. The maximum tipping angle is 55°, and the breakout force from the tilt cylinder is 448 Nm.

Optional Equipment

The machine offers various optional equipment, including the Ride Control system, which reduces shocks in the loader arms. It is also possible to choose different tires, hydraulic systems, and attachments, providing flexibility for operations in different conditions.

Safety and Technical Data

The Case 521E meets all important safety standards, including ROPS cab and a range of safety systems. The maximum load capacity that the machine can lift is 6,500 kg in a straight position. The device also includes remote fluid drain points, ensuring ease of maintenance.
