Case 480F – Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The Case 480F is equipped with a Case 4-390 diesel engine that produces 51 kW. This engine features an integral design of oil and coolant pumps, which reduces component wear and leads to lower operating costs. Its one-piece cast-iron block design eliminates cavitation erosion and coolant leaks, increasing the lifespan of rings and pistons. Additionally, it provides positive cylinder wall lubrication due to integrated oil pump and under-piston oil nozzles. This leads to enhanced engine reliability, particularly in challenging working conditions.

Operational and Hydraulic System

The 480F loader/backhoe is designed to offer smooth, efficient operation, particularly during directional changes. The hydraulic shuttle transmission with clutch disconnect button enables rapid adaptation to varying ground conditions. Furthermore, the open-center hydraulic system allows for precision control and offers operators a better feel for the machine's performance. Core working functions are executed via user-friendly levers, enhancing the operator's comfort during tasks.
