Bobcat 331E - Product Description

Powertrain and Design

The Bobcat 331E is a compact mini-excavator featuring an efficient Kubota V 2203 EB engine with a power output of 29.9 kW (40 HP) at 2400 RPM. The diesel engine has a displacement of 2196 cc and delivers a maximum torque of 139 Nm at 1600 RPM. The water cooling system and an automatic 12 V, 2.0 kW starter ensure reliable operation.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

The undercarriage consists of an independent drive for each track using a hydrostatic axial piston motor. This allows for a maximum gradeability of 58% and a maximum drawbar pull of 3158 daN. The hydraulic system with a double pump of variable displacement provides sufficient operation of the working equipment with a flow rate of 62.1 l/min at 2200 RPM.

Operating Parameters
