Powertrain and Design

The L2606E is a wheeled loader powered by a John Deere POWERTECH TM 6090H engine. The engine complies with EPA Tier 2 and EU Stage II emissions standards, offering a maximum power output of 227 kW at 1500 rpm. The fuel system is based on a high-pressure common rail system with turbocharging and air cooling. The vehicle features a dual-element dry type air cleaner and a hydraulically driven fan for effective engine cooling.

Undercarriage and Hydraulics

This loader features a PowerShift TM transmission with a five-speed gearbox. Gear shifts are electronically modulated, adapting to load and speed conditions. The use of dual variable-displacement pumps allows for a maximum flow rate of 515 l/min at a pressure of 22,670 kPa. The hydraulic system is fully hydraulic, providing smooth operation and high precision in loader control.
